Advanced Shearing

This is a three-day course open to those who have been shearing in the industry and have experience shearing strong wool sheep types and would like to either learn or upskill with shearing finewool sheep types. The course will cover instruction and practical training in the following:

• Animal Welfare and Animal Handling 
• Team Work
• Comb selection and gear experting
• Machine and Handpiece Maintenece
• Grinding (sharpening) Combs and Cutters 
• High level of instruction on pattern,and helping improve quality and tallies
• A pathway to the next level
