This is a two-day beginner woolhandling course which will cover instruction and practical training in the following:

Health and Safety in the Industry and Woolshed environment
Animal Welfare and Animal Handling
Team Work
Preparation guidelines for crossbred - full wool/2nd shear

Wool terminology
Non-technical exercises
Theory exercises
Practical assessment for the National Certificate in Woolhandling

An Online Animal Welfare & Calm Sheep Handling Course will be sent to you by email and is a requirement for everyone to complete before coming.
